Our aim is to build confidence and resilience within our communities. Thay can be within our Duke of Edinburgh Open Award or through our projects. Our team are trained to a high standard in all the elements we provide and have specialist knowledge. We can ensure that no matter what aspect of Scorpio you are undertaking, you will be supported.
We are passionate about people and preventing isolation. We are a social team and encourage social engagement to build stronger communities. We want you to enjoy your time with us and create lasting memories. Our projects fit in around your lifestyle allowing you to complete whichever programme you choose with us.
We offer a range of safety training covering drugs, anti bullying, lone traveller safety, gangs and specialist safeguarding training. We can provide breakaway training or restraint reduction training to make sure your environment is safe for young people. We also ensure that every young person that joins Scorpio has safety and First Aid Training
Our team are fully trained and accredited for delivery of the courses we offer. The team are all enhanced DBS checked and have additional safeguarding training and operational experience. Our safeguarding is in line with educational establishments across the UK.
The team have varied experience drawn from military and Crown service. Trainers achieve nationally recognised qualified standards and National Governing Body qualifications to provide our services.
There are support mechanisms throughout the courses to allow participants to contact trainers between development days to allow continual support.
Courses are delivered across Greater Manchester with both indoor and outdoor sites dependant on requirements. Delivery will be face to face or online depending on requirements and external factors.
